Who We Are
Clothed in Love is an upscale kids’ consignment
boutique, sharing gently used clothes with each other. We say boutique
because we take the best quality of items and sell some boutique clothing. Clothed
in Love is here to serve you and your family! We currently take clothes in
sizes newborn-16, kid accessories (strollers, cribs, toys, etc.) plus maternity
clothes (which we know are so hard to find). We are located on Steele Station
Road on the right side of the ACE Cheer and Gymnastics building. We can't
wait to meet you!
Consign With Us
Finding
the perfect place to consign your clothes can be intimidating. There are so
many options in today's world, but what better way of connecting with others and
truly sharing the items you love than at a local consignment shop. We are
here to create the environment of shopping at a boutique without boutique
prices. We hope and pray that you choose to consign with us.
Here is our "Consign Design"
1.
Come in during our normal business hours to drop off your items, or contact
Clothed in Love to make an appointment.
- When you bring in items, all items must be freshly laundered (preferably in an unscented detergent), on hangers or in a basket/bin neatly folded, and in mint condition - no stains, excessive wear or fading.
- Equipment and toys have to meet current safety standards. They also should be clean (without scuff marks or tears), include all parts, and be in good working condition.

When you come in, we will set up your personal account. Sometimes we can look through your items while you shop, but if you have a lot, we ask for 2-3 business days to price and inspect your items.
- Reminder that we only take items in the current season schedule. Call to double check what season we are accepting before you bring items in.
- A maximum of 40 items may be dropped off each week per consignor. We choose items that will sell and compliment our current inventory.
- Accepted Items will be entered into our computer system under your personal account. You will be notified within 2-3 business days, of drop-off, of what items have been accepted and their price in an email. You then have 24 hours to decline the offer. Then your items will remain on the sale floor for a period of ninety days. At the end of the consignment period, you may a.) retrieve your unsold items (you have two weeks to do so), or b.) choose to let us mark down your items for thirty days. If you do not wish for us to mark down your items, it is your responsibility to remember the expiration dates and retrieve them promptly within the two-week grace period. All unsold items left past the thirty-day mark down or two-week grace period will become property of Clothed in Love.
- Non-accepted items will be set aside for you to pick up (a courtesy call will be placed for non-accepted items, and you will have seven business days to retrieve them). You may choose to have the non-accepted items donated to charity. All non-accepted items left past the seven-day grace period will become property of Clothed in Love.
- At Clothed in Love, we have two different payout options for you as a consignor. Prices are set by management and can be reduced without prior notice. It is our goal to achieve the highest price possible for your items.
1. Receive 50% of our
selling price for your items, and choose to have an account credit for future
purchases. Payment is applied directly to your
account upon the sale of your item. Account credit can be used in the store and
expires in a three year time period. Credit accumulates as items sell and
remains in the consignor's account until applied toward a purchase.
OR
2.
Receive 40% of our selling price for your items, and choose to receive a
payment directly. You will receive an email letting you
know when your items have sold. You may come in at anytime and receive
your check payout (your check amount must be at least $15 for you to receive
it.)
